Sheeja Nair

Sheeja Nair is the founder and principal interior designer at Raashi Design. She has been interested in design and art since childhood and has been designing interiors for over 18 years. In addition to interior design training, she also has Master’s degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering. She made her career switch after building her own custom home made her realize the passion and ability she has for interior and furniture design. She decided to go into business full-time, founding Raashi Design in 2012. Today Raashi Design is an award-winning interior design and decorating firm known for unique, inspiring designs and exceptional customer care, serving clients in the SF Bay area as well as in India. Working in different parts of the world has influenced Sheeja’s design style and perspective in a truly global way. She has a unique approach to using colors, textures, space organization and lighting, and prides herself on coming up with outside the box solutions to challenging design problems. Her interiors are thoughtfully conceived with an emphasis on a range of design styles, practicality, and functional comfort. Sheeja is a wife and mother of two boys. She loves to travel and experience new cultures.
