We are a boutique interior design and furnishings studio specializing in sustainable interior design in Portland, Oregon.

We believe a home should outlast the trend that inspired it. That belief comes from an unusual place: Refinement grew up in a yurt on a commune in Washington State, one of seven children, without electricity. Everything was built, mended, or made to last. Nothing was disposable because nothing could be.

That upbringing shapes how we source today. Sustainable design, for us, is not a finish or a label. It is choosing pieces well enough made that nobody replaces them in five years. We favor heritage American manufacturers, antique and vintage pieces with a history worth knowing, and original work from local woodworkers, ceramicists, and artists. The result is a home that feels collected over time rather than delivered in a week.

Our services range from full-service interior design and furnishings to single-day design sessions, color consultation, and design for small business spaces.

- We work with homeowners on full-service residential design projects, from concept and space planning through procurement, delivery, and install.
- We collaborate with contractors and trades on remodels and new construction.
- We offer Designer for a Day sessions for clients who have a vision and need expert direction to execute it with confidence.
- We serve greater Portland, Vancouver WA, Camas, Tualatin, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Seattle, with virtual interior design services available nationwide.

What we love most is the moment a client walks into a finished room and recognizes themselves in it. Not a look borrowed from somewhere else, but their own life, arranged well. We build rooms meant to be lived in for a long time.
