I have always loved design and a warm and welcoming home. My mother taught me at a young age how to decorate and move furniture and make a house feel like a home.  
In 2005, I started decorating full-time after spending several years as a administrative assistant and learning organizational skills. I educated myself in fabrication by attending the Custom Home Furnishings Academy and also taking color courses. In 2013, I opened my first retail store in West Columbia, SC. I thoroughly enjoyed having a home interior store, which also helped my design business grow.  Then in 2018 my husband had an opportunity to move to the upstate.  I closed my store in West Columbia and started my business in Spartanburg known as Spruce Home Interiors.  I am thrilled to bring my design business to the upstate,  We feature local artists once a month, and have also welcomed James Farmer to our store and continue to work on other events.  Spruce brings unique shopping and design services to the Spartanburg area.
